Hurst Billet Plus shifter for S10 & S15 GM trucks : 1982-1995 w/ T4 or T5



Hurst Billet Plus shifter kit for OE replacement on 4 or 5 speed manual trans in:

  • 1982-1987 Chevrolet S-10 & GMC S-15 pickup - except RPO M73 (Isuzu S101 4 speed)
  • 1988-1993 Chevrolet S-10 & GMC S-15 / Sonoma pickup - 2.5 & 2.8L only
  • 1994-1995 Chevrolet S-10 & GMC Sonoma pickup - 2.2L only
  • 1983-1987 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer & GMC S-15 Jimmy - except RPO M73 (Isuzu S101 4 speed)
  • 1988-1989 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer & GMC S-15 Jimmy - 2.5 & 2.8L only
  • WARNING: IF you have a 4 speed (1982-1987), check RPO or confirm trans physically. Isuzu S101 shifter is NOT serviceable. S101 has integral bellhousing; T4 case bolts to bellhousing.

ONLY FITS T4 & T5 manual trans specific to these GM models - GM RPO's M77, MC9, MB1, MB6, ML2, ML3 & MW1

  • Does NOT FIT Isuzu S101 4 speed (RPO M73), 4.3L V6, newer models, other T5, or any other model. NOT for custom use - see swap bases
  • Replaces GM #15583957; 15618924 ; 15546804 ; 15618925 ; 15584146 ; 15546842 ; 12542546 ; 12545842
  • 5 speed knob is default; if you have a 4 speed, specify w/ order

  • Knob height ~ 1.5" lower than OE; comparable to discontinued Hurst #3910029
    • 15" from base flange to top of knob; 45% throw reduction
  • IF you have a body lift - see the Core Shifters S10 T5 kit which has higher knob height options

Kit includes chrome stick #0201, classic knob, base assembly, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. Lower bushing cup not included (reuse existing or buy separately). The base is built by Core Shifters using components from Hurst & other sources:

  • High-strength billet steel gear selector stub
  • Hardened steel cross-pin & stainless steel fulcrum pivot ring
  • Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
  • Glass-reinforced polyamide fulcrum socket with steel wear clips
  • Rubber oil control seal with steel retaining ring
  • CNC-machined billet aluminum housing
  • Laser-cut steel lid
