Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 5 speed manual trans in:

• 1988-1998 Ford F-150
• 1988-1998 Ford F-250 (GVWR < 8500)
• 1988-1996 Ford Bronco

ONLY FITS Mazda M5OD-R2 manual trans produced BEFORE 1999

• 80mm from stub tip to flange gasket
• Does NOT FIT newer models (XL34 ID tag) or HD trucks (GVWR > 8500 = ZF)
• For Ranger w/ M5R2 swap - see special kit in Ranger section
• IF YOU HAVE a body lift (frame spacers) or transfer case drop: use an extension bracket to elevate stick

Kit includes PLAIN chrome stick #0295 (NOT a Hurst part), classic knob, base assembly, gasket, mounting hardware, dust cover boot, and installation instructions. This kit includes a boot grommet to adapt the stock console boot; no aftermarket boot necessary or recommended however a SuperBoot can be fitted (sold separately). Throw is reduced by ~ 40%. The base is built by Core Shifters using proven components inside a custom housing:

• High-strength billet steel gear selector stub w/ induction hardened tip
• Hardened steel cross-pin & glass-reinforced polyamide fulcrum pivot ring
• Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
• CNC-machined billet aluminum housing with steel wear clips
• Laser-cut steel lid
