Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 5 speed manual trans in:

• 1992-1999 Dodge Dakota w/ 3.9L V6
• 1993-1998 Dodge Dakota w/ 2.5L 4 cyl

ONLY FITS AX15 manual trans

• Does NOT FIT V8, other model years, or any other models

• 17.6" tall from base flange to top of knob; 30% throw reduction
• IF YOU HAVE a body lift (frame spacers) or transfer case drop: use an extension bracket to elevate stick
  
• Lower bushing cup not included; reuse existing or buy separately

Kit includes chrome stick #0292 & classic knob (plain, no Hurst markings, NOT Hurst parts), base assembly, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. Compare to discontinued Hurst #3915050. The base is built by Core Shifters using proven components inside a custom housing:

• High-strength billet steel gear selector stub
• Hardened steel cross-pin & glass-reinforced polyamide fulcrum pivot ring
• Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
• CNC-machined billet aluminum housing with steel wear clips
• Laser-cut steel lid & baseplate
• Rubber dust cover boot (low profile OE, NOT as pictured)
