Replacement rubber shifter dust boot cover for Getrag G56 6-speed transmission found in:

• mid-2005-2018 Dodge Ram HD (reverse lower left)
  
• Does not fit earlier models (reverse upper right)
• Does not fit 1500 series (reverse lower right)

3.5" dia x 1.8" tall overall, snaps onto a ~2.8" dia housing to seal a 5/8 - 3/4" dia stub. Interchanges with Mopar # 05161544AA ; 05161544AB ; 05191985AA. This is a replacement shifter boot that is OE on various other transmissions, and will work fine on the G56 as well. The OE G56 boot (orange / red) is known to tear in use and official OE replacements aren't any better (and cost more). It is crucial to have an intact functional boot to keep out dirt as anything that gets in will quickly get into the trans fluid! Don't wait!

*** This is a dust boot for the shifter base. It is NOT a console boot. It is NOT a floor boot. It simply covers the top of the shifter base to keep dirt out of the shifter. A floor boot and console boot are still required above this. ***
