Knobs & Handles

*** With knobs and handles, it's all about thread size - know what you need! For older vehicles in particular, it is best to physically confirm what you have at a hardware store etc. Aftermarket shifters may not have OE thread; Hurst chrome sticks in particular rarely match OE. Shop carefully! ***

Classic round knobs w/ shift pattern on top:

For OE replacement (stock shifters):

For Hurst sticks only:

All knobs include jam nuts as applicable. If you need a replacement jam nut or adapter bushing, see the parts page.

Thread size guide

Knobs mount via common screw thread as defined by the Unified Thread Standard (inch) and ISO 261 (metric). Screw thread is defined by outer diameter AND pitch (threads per inch for UTS or mm rise per turn for metric) - see this printable PDF thread gauge for illustrations of pitch. But if you really don't know what you have, it is best to take your old knob or nut to a hardware store, or buy some nuts of known size and see what fits; keep in mind the thread could be metric or inch-based and these standards are not cross-compatible.

Shop by thread size! Just click on the thread size to see everything we offer in that size!
