Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 5 speed manual trans in:

• 1997-2000 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) - 2.5L 4 cyl only

ONLY FITS AX5 manual trans; stick is specific to 1997+ XJ

• Does NOT FIT 6 cyl models, other model years, Wrangler, or any other model

• 15" tall from base flange to top of knob; 39% throw reduction
• IF YOU HAVE a transfer case drop (crossmember spacers), or other modifications that affect shifter position - a different stick may be needed; email us
• Lower bushing cup not included; reuse existing or buy separately

Kit includes chrome stick #0015 on a bracket, classic knob, base assembly, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. The base is built by Core Shifters using proven components inside a custom housing:

• Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
