Jam nut for shifter knobs and handles with 3/8"-16 UNC "coarse" thread:

• Zinc-plated steel
  • Round upper portion w/ hex at bottom for wrench
    • 9/16" outside diameter (~ 14mm)
    • 9/16" across hex flats (~ 14mm)
    • 5/16" tall overall w/ 0.2" tall round portion
• Equivalent to Hurst #1794719 / #1795719, Inline Tube #INL10294, & Year One #MG002
  

• Intended for aftermarket classic knobs & T-handles w/ ~1/8" recessed mount
• NOT compatible with most OE knobs

This thread size is found on:

• Most AFTERMARKET (Comp Plus) Hurst CHROME sticks
• Does NOT FIT aftermarket Hurst sticks produced before ~1975 (= 3/8"-24)
• Does NOT FIT Hurst Indy 3 speed shifters (= 3/8"-24)
• Does NOT FIT Hurst aluminum or black sticks (thread size varies)
• The following manual trans applications in OE configuration:
• 1964-1972 Pontiac factory Hurst shifters
• 1969-1972 Camaro factory Hurst shifters
• most 1973-1981 GM cars except Corvette
