Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 5 speed manual trans in:

• 1998-2005 Dodge Ram 2500 & 3500 HD trucks

ONLY FITS NV4500 manual trans specific to these models - sales codes DDP & DDX

• Does NOT FIT older model years because shift tower is integral to lid
• Earlier models can be adapted w/ change to later case top for bolt-on shifter base (Mopar # 05003036AA, see last pic)
• Does NOT FIT any 6 speed, Ram 1500, or any other model; NOT for custom use
• Replaces Mopar OE shifter #05003211AA & 05086539AA aka 25982
• If your trans is not original, confirm it has a bolt-on shifter base & lid casting #25138
• WARNING: does NOT FIT 2001+ GM NV4500 (lid casting #33893, 1/4" taller mount)

• 21" tall from base flange to top of knob; 28% throw reduction; ~ stock knob height
• IF YOU HAVE a body lift (frame spacers) or transfer case drop: use an extension bracket to elevate stick
