Short throw shifter kit for TR6060 6-speed manual trans swap into a GM G-body vehicle:

Requires a Tremec Magnum (aftermarket) or TR6060 (oem) sourced from:

  • 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V
  • 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP
  • 2010+ Camaro (V8 only)
    • aka GM # 92246731 ; 92236241 ; 24264045 ; 24258816; 92249325
  • 2015-2017 Chevrolet SS
  • 2016+ Cadillac ATS-V (V only, no others)

NOT compatible with 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V TR6060 (aka GM # 24264047 ; 24258817 "MG9") or any Dodge. Base replaces forward port cover and eliminates OE linkage; NOT compatible with any of these vehicles in OE setting. IF you have an aftermarket Tremec Magnum w/ 6-bolt rear base, a coverplate is required (sold separately).

Kit includes a Hurst chrome stick (# 4106) & classic knob, Core Shifters base, mounting hardware, dust cover boot, and installation instructions; bulk parts; no retail pkg. Comparable to Hurst # 3913101. Lower bushing cup not included (reuse existing or buy separately). Overall height from base flange to top of knob is ~14".

The base is built by Core Shifters using proven Hurst Billet Plus components inside a custom housing. It does not have stops and does not need them; all modern internal rail trans have internal stops. This kit has many superior features & components, integrated into a unique, exclusive assembly:

  • Forged heat-treated billet steel gear selector stub
  • Hardened steel cross-pin & stainless steel fulcrum pivot ring
  • Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
  • Glass-reinforced polyamide fulcrum socket with steel wear clips
  • Rubber oil control seal with steel retaining ring
  • Extruded aluminum housing with Spirolox steel support ring
  • Zinc-plated laser-cut steel base-plate & cover
  • Vibration-resistant serrated flange head steel retaining bolts
  • Rubber dust cover boot
  • Pan-head allen bolts with toothed lockwashers to mount stick
