Core Shifter w/ Hurst stick for GM Silverado & Sierra 1500 : 1999-2007 w/ NV3500

Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 5 speed manual trans in:

  • 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra 1500 series trucks
  • 2007 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra "Classic" 1500 series trucks

ONLY FITS NV3500 manual trans specific to these models - GM RPO's MG5 & M50

  • Does NOT FIT 2500 or 3500 series (GVWR > 8500), other model years, S10, or any other model
    • NOT for custom use! Only for vehicles described
  • Base configured for transmission receptacle height of 1/4"
    • Replaces GM # 12382863 ; 12382852 ; 27874
    • IF your transmission has been serviced, it MAY REQUIRE A DIFFERENT BASE. If you install the wrong one it will not work properly and could cause damage. To confirm height, remove shifter base and measure transmission as shown in last pic

Available in four knob heights:

  • For trucks w/ stock body frame bushings (no spacers):
    • 2" lower than stock (default); comparable to discontinued Hurst # 3910122
      • Stick # 0292, 18" from base flange to top of knob; 32% throw reduction
    • 2" higher than stock; NOT for use w/ body lift
      • Stick # 0295, 22" from base flange to top of knob; 19% throw reduction
  • For trucks w/ aftermarket body lift (frame spacers) = taller stub + extension bracket:
    • 1" higher than stock : + $10
      • Stick # 0292; 21" from base flange to top of knob; 21% throw reduction
    • 5" higher than stock : + $10
      • Stick # 0295; 25" from base flange to top of knob; 7% throw reduction
    • These versions do NOT FIT stock trucks!

Kit includes a Hurst chrome stick & classic knob, Core Shifters base w/ pre-installed OE lower pivot cup, mounting hardware, dust cover boot, floor boot adapter grommet, and installation instructions. The base is built by Core Shifters using proven Hurst Billet Plus components inside a custom housing:

  • Forged heat-treated billet steel gear selector stub
  • Hardened steel cross-pin & stainless steel fulcrum pivot ring
  • Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
  • Glass-reinforced polyamide fulcrum socket with steel wear clips
  • Rubber oil control seal with steel retaining ring
  • Extruded aluminum housing with Spirolox steel support ring
  • Zinc-plated laser-cut steel cover with heat-treated spring retainer straps
  • CNC-machined billet aluminum base
  • Vibration-resistant serrated flange head steel retaining bolts
