Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 5 speed manual trans in:

• 1983-1992 Camaro & Firebird - all models
• 1993-2002 Camaro & Firebird - V6 only

Only fits T5 5 speed manual trans w/ rotated bellhousing specific to these models

• Does NOT FIT 6 speed, other T5, or any other model

Kit includes HardDrive handle #8650, base assembly, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. Lower bushing cup not included (reuse existing or buy separately). Comparable to discontinued Hurst #3915032 but with a Hurst HardDrive pistol grip stick. Overall height from base flange to top of grip is ~13". Throw is reduced by ~36%

• Effective grip center ~1" lower than stock
• Stick is CNC-machined, polished billet aluminum w/ "HURST" engraved on rear
• Grip is "titanium" gray anodized aluminum
• Also available with brushed silver or BLACK delrin grip
• NOTE: Pictured aluminum boot support is no longer available - NOT included!
• A simple rubber grommet is included in its place, works fine

The base is built by Core Shifters using proven components inside a custom housing:

• High-strength billet steel gear selector stub
• Hardened steel cross-pin & stainless steel fulcrum pivot ring
• Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
• Glass-reinforced polyamide fulcrum socket with steel wear clips
• Rubber oil control seal with steel retaining ring
• Extruded aluminum housing with Spirolox steel support ring
• Laser-cut steel lid & baseplate
