Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 5 speed manual trans in:

• mid 2001-2002 Ford Mustang GT & SVT Cobra
• Does NOT FIT early 2001 production - trans code 6 = T45
• 2003-2004 Ford Mustang GT & Mach 1

Only fits TR3650 5 speed manual trans specific to these V8 models

• TR trans code on door tag begins w/ K
• Does NOT FIT any V6 (= T5), older V8 (= T5 or T45), 6 speed, or any other model; NOT for custom use - see swap bases

Kit includes chrome stick #8550, classic knob, base assembly, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. Lower bushing cup not included (reuse existing or buy separately). Use w/ stock console boot; remove grommet from leather boot to reveal stick. Overall height from base flange to top of knob is ~12". Throw is reduced by ~30%. Similar kit w/ black short stick for stock knob also available

• Laser-cut steel lid & baseplate
